Health and safety are top priorities, and we are actively fighting Covid-19 like the once-in-a-lifetime threat that it is. With the virus impact continuing in 2021, we've added this page to give you the most current news on our status.

Covid-19 status last updated 4/26/21.

We are working in the office this week, we are also available by phone or email.  We are still setting appointments for the tax season. Per Governor Inslee's latest advice, see here 04/12/2021, we will be limited to 50% capacity, we are interpeting this as our staff of 2 and no more than 2 members of the same household for inperson meetings.

Please note that the building's outer doors are open from 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday, starting 01/04/21, until further notice. This is the building's manager's policy and outside of our control. If you need to pick up or drop off past 4pm, you'll need to call us so that we can meet you at the building's front door.

Here is how to work with us during this time:

  • Delivering Files:
    • Email: This is fine for documents without secure information, but please protect your data.
    • Secure Firm Portal: Please use your login at https://www.securefirmportal.com to safely send and receive files.

    • Drop Off:  Between the hours or 8AM-4PM. Normally, you may slide documents under our door. Envelopes are provided.
  • Meetings: please call us at (206)774-9192 to schedule an appointment, we offer virtual meetings and a few  We have tools available for screen sharing and remote control if needed.
  • Receiving Files:
    • Electronically: We will use email or the Secure Firm Portal to send information electronically in all cases.
    • Postal Mail: If you also wish documents to be mailed, please ask us.
    • Pick Up: It may be possible to coordinate a contactless pickup from our office. Please contact us to coordinate a time. Because we are not in the office on a regular basis, times will be limited.
  • Payment Methods: We continue to email invoices with links for online payment. Use your bank account or credit to pay instantly. You may also call the office to pay by phone or mail a check.

During this difficult time, we will continue to monitor the situation and take precautionary measures to promote the health and safety of everyone in the community. We hope to resume limited in person meetings during the February-April heart of the tax season, but those decisions can only be made as the situation evolves and will be driven by the scientific recommendations.

Will there be delays or extensions for the 2021 tax season? Yes an extension has been issued for individual filings are now due May 17th, we will continue to monitor announcements.  In terms of our capacity: last year, Congress passed major new laws in March and May, which forced us to divert a lot of effort away from our usual work. It is certainly likely that 2021 will be complicated in the same way.

Thank you for your continued trust as we manage this time together. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call or email.
